The couple’s engagement began at home where Chris cooked them a meal together. The two had originally matched on Tinder, only to find out they had mutual friends, attended the same university, and had grown up in the same area. Their relationship naturally unfolded. One night, he insisted they take their dogs on a walk after dinner to the nearest dog park. Once they arrived, Claire found rose petals scattered on the sidewalk in the place where Chris got down on one knee. He had planned for Claire’s sister and best friends to be waiting to hear the good news. Together, they all celebrated in the parking lot with champagne, gifts, and desserts.

Claire and Chris’s wedding day was inspired by their love of music festivals and raves, which brought a unique and colorful experience to Edison’s of Texas and to their guests. The first half of the day felt more traditional, and turned into a festival-esque reception after they cut the cake and toasted to speeches. This balancing of two themes can be seen in timeless couple portraits on the rooftop, as well as more energetic photos with eclectic street art in downtown Dallas. Claire opted for a bouquet fused with color, which mixed deep and moody reds and blues with electric pink and yellow. Playful signage marked the night with a “we swiped right” cake topper and neon signage for photo ops. When the evening shifted, dance music, lasers, fog machines, and flashing floor lights transformed the space. Light-up tiaras and glow sticks found their way to guests. The couple chose to do a first dance as well as a last dance, bringing guests together one last time before the party moved on to its next location. This wedding wouldn’t be complete without Claire’s glimmering outfit change into a sequined party dress and light-up tennis shoes. Later, she even donned a super unique white bedazzled “bride” hat, which encouraged the energy to remain lifted as they continued the party to its next destinations.
