Calamigos Ranch was one of the first places I ever worked at the start of my wedding career, and I remember instantly hoping to get married there one day. It has this magical fairytale feel that no other venue has. Malibu also holds a special place in my heart, it was my go-to for high school beach days.
Stephanie and CJ planned their luxury black tie wedding at Calamigos with the help of the insanely talented girls at Fetelle Designs. Nikki brought their dreams to life by adding elegant, sharp, modern designs to whimsical bones of the ranch.
When I met Stephanie and CJ, we hit it off instantly. They are OBSESSED with their dogs (like me) and even brought their two cattle dogs with them on their wedding day. If there are dogs involved, I’m an automatic yes. I think my absolutely favorite part of the day was when Stephanie was zipping up her Ines Di Santo gown while her two dogs wrestled on top of the train. Steph giggled the whole time, she’s my kind of gal.
