Destination Wedding in Venice Florida
John & Natalie Hecker got married on May 18th, 2023 on the beach in Venice, Florida. They are both from Colorado and booked their Florida destination wedding since they both love the ocean!
Before the special day
The groom’s party and the Hecker family stayed at the Venice Villas during the destination wedding. The bridal party and the House family stayed at one of their Airbnb rentals.
Before their special day, both families had a rehearsal on the beach and a dinner at Café Venice. One of the groomsmen got engaged after the rehearsal.
The Wedding day
Once John & Natalie finished getting ready, they did their 2pm first look at Casperson Beach. We continued to do portraits at Casperson Beach and then drove to Maxine Barritt Park at 3pm to photograph wedding party and family formals. The ceremony commenced near Sharky’s On the Pier at 5pm. The weather was nice and even an Egret came to say hello! At 6pm, the reception started at the Maxine Barritt Park Pavilion with everyone having a wonderful time. Later, the newly wedded couple invited everyone down to the beach for the 8:15pm sunset and we captured additional portraits. The reception continued until about 10pm when John & Natalie did their grand exit! They both left for their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
