After meeting on a dating app, Michelle and Sam decided to meet in person at a wine bar for their first date. They immediately clicked, and their spark eventually developed into a relationship. Sam proposed at one of their favorite local parks near where they lived. They hired Stillwell Events as their planner, and for over a year, they planned their dream wedding at the Metropolitan Club of New York. But a month before their wedding date, they ultimately postponed the wedding because of the pandemic and chose to get legally married a few months later. So, their long-awaited wedding celebration finally happened two years after their original date, which was their first chance to celebrate with family and friends.

Michelle and Sam’s New York City-inspired wedding tied classic elements of New York City with a traditional Jewish wedding. Their timeless black and white theme paid tribute to the city, and the venue’s gold-gilded accents and rich red walls added another layer of sophistication. This fun-loving couple wanted to pay tribute to their dog Winston, so they ordered cocktail napkins featuring their furball’s face and a matching custom cake topper. Being doting pet parents, they brought their dog out after the ceremony for photos, a special moment for them to share. Since Sam’s father had recently passed away, the speeches took a moment to honor and remember him making it a special and emotional moment for all.
