From meeting your stylist for the first time in their private, exclusive bridal studio to making your wedding dress vision come to life with Xiao-Yin with our in-house alterations, Tang’s is with you every step of your bridal journey. Xiao-Yin, an artist and master seamstress, is the owner of Tang’s and has over 25 years of experience. Her team takes the time to educate brides about wedding dress styles, so they really know the dress they are falling in love with. During alterations, Xiao-Yin shares many tips and tricks with brides like how to sit and walk up and down stairs in their wedding dress!
Tang’s has the most beautifully designed gowns by Maggie Sottero and Pronovias, and also has veils, hair accessories, and jewelry. They stay current by attending a minimum of two industry trade expos a year. They also have an inside look at their designers’ latest offerings.
Finding the Perfect Dress
Learning about a bride’s wedding is key to assisting them with finding their dream dress! With every bridal appointment, Tang’s starts with an online questionnaire to better understand a bride’s wedding to include their venue, season, and budget. Tang’s stylists also do an in-person “interview” with each bride at the beginning of their appointment. This helps settle nerves and helps the stylist get a very good direction on which gowns will be selected for the bride to try on.
Ordering and Customizing a Bridal Gown from Tang’s
The goal at Tang’s is to make the process of ordering a wedding dress a stress-free experience for all brides. Depending which dress is selected determines the delivery. Some wedding dresses are “quick ship” gowns and can come in a few weeks. Other wedding dresses can take up to five months.
When a bride’s dress arrives, they come in for a reveal appointment to see their very own wedding dress! Because Tang’s is a full-service alterations shop, they have the ability to customize the wedding dress of their dreams! Brides work with both their stylist and Xiao-Yin to order fabric and lace for customizations.
Advice on the Wedding Dress Search
Gathering wedding dress inspiration through social media can be helpful when first starting a wedding dress search. However, seeing the dress on yourself is a whole different experience! A bride learns a lot by just looking at herself and how beautiful she looks in a dress. When the sparkle in her eyes comes out – that says it all! Trusting your stylist’s guidance and knowledge will help you in your journey. Education is such a large part of the process. Knowing more about your dress from the inside out helps you fall in love with your dress even more!
Coordinating the Rest of a Bride’s Wedding Day Look
Tang’s has trained stylists both at the bridal studio and the alterations shop. If a bride needs guidance with coordinating their accessories and veils, their stylists are more than happy to assist! Accessory styling can happen at your initial shopping appointment, during your dress reveal, or during your alterations appointment.

What’s Ahead
Tang’s Bridal | Alterations | Bespoke is continuing to grow and expand! They recently remodeled their alterations shop, adding a custom menswear area, and they’ve expanded the bridal alterations area.
They provide services for the entire wedding party, from tuxedos to alterations. Their business model stems from providing customers with the best possible service.
