Megan and Devin’s Dreamy Desert Vow Renewal at Under Canvas Moab

After a rushed courthouse wedding eight years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Richey started their cross-country adventure as a military couple. Although their marriage and family was perfect, they always felt like something was missing. Finally, after two years of planning, Megan and Devin invited those they love most to a three-day “glamping” escapade at the breathtaking Under Canvas Moab resort hotel to partake in the most unbelievable celebration of their love that they never got to have.

Their guests were treated to four days of luxury camping fun all centered around one intimate ceremony where the couple exchanged and renewed personal vows that left no eye dry. Their soft, inviting details matched their earth-toned color palate and together, created an event almost as stunning at the couple themselves. Complete with a sunrise session at Arches National Park, the festivities of the Richey Vow Renewal were the things that desert-loving nuptial dreams are made of. It was personally such a privilege, not only to be their wedding photographer, but also to be Megan’s matron of honor.

From the bride:

“A true desert dream. Once we came across Under Canvas Moab, there was no other venue that could compete for our long-awaited vow renewal. Pulling off a four day adventure to celebrate our marriage in a barren red rock desert was no small feat. Between our invaluable planning team, vendors, and the most incredibly accommodating staff at Under Canvas, we were able to pull off the vow renewal of a life time.

Every detail was perfect and the food was delicious, but the best part was being on a vacation in the middle of nowhere, soaking up quality time with all of our favorite people. Although the week seemed to fly by, we had the absolute best photographer (and my Matron of Honor, how?!) who was able to freeze the most special moments in time, and our favorite videographer who put together a reel of memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Our vow renewal was a blessing that will be forever engrained in our hearts.”
