Elizabeth and Michael had been dating since high school, so after all these year, it’s finally time for them to get married. Both of their families are very close, since the two grew up together, and they flew in from all of the country (and some even from all the way in Australia) to see the two get married in the breathtaking wilderness of Aspen. The two met early in the morning at sunrise to do a first look while the Maroon Bells turned pink in the alpenglow of the morning. After their first look, they started hiking to a spot to say their vows in private. They said their vows, cried a bit, and loved on each other alone out in the woods. We walked around the rest of the trail back to the lake where they met their families for some more generic vows and celebration. Elizabeth’s parents walked her down the aisle and her brother officiated their ceremony. Afterward, they cut the cake, popped champagne, and a few family members gave some speeches for the two of them. Everything was very simple, and very small, just the way they wanted it.
