From Veronica: Our wedding venue was a captivating fusion of Texas charm and classy vibes. Nestled in the heart of the Lone Star State, it exuded a warm, welcoming atmosphere with rustic touches that celebrated its Texan roots. Yet, it effortlessly embraced an air of elegance, creating a perfect backdrop for our special day. It was a perfect blend that captured the essence of both vibes of Jackson and I.

Our wedding day was a seamless blend of simplicity and joy. Without extravagant visions, we put our trust in talented vendors and embraced the beauty of simplicity. With a strong DIY spirit, my mom and I crafted elements that added a personal touch to the celebration. The result: a flawlessly orchestrated day filled with love and genuine moments, proving that sometimes, less is truly more. Having my college friend as the florist was a game-changer. I trusted her wholeheartedly, and she turned our venue into the most beautiful environment. From bouquets to decor, she nailed it. The trust we shared turned the day into a seamless and beautiful experience. Working with her was so much fun!!!!

Embracing individuality, I gave my bridesmaids the freedom to choose their own dress styles, with the only guideline being the color. The result was a beautiful array of dresses that reflected each bridesmaid’s unique taste and personality. It not only added a personal touch to the bridal party but also showcased the wonderful diversity of styles and preferences within our close circle. Opting for a coordinated look, all the groomsmen were given specific instructions on what to rent, ensuring a cohesive and polished appearance. The unified attire choice resulted in a group of exceptionally handsome groomsmen, showcasing a shared sense of style and contributing to the overall elegance of the wedding party.

Taking our friend’s recommendation for the wedding barbecue proved to be an excellent decision. The flavors of PEJ exceeded expectations, earning it the title of the best barbecue we’ve ever had. Throughout the night, the compliments kept rolling in, turning the catering choice into a standout feature of the event. Our Aggie pride took center stage at the wedding with the groom’s cake, a PERFECT replica of the Dixie Chicken in College Station. This iconic spot held special memories for us, and my cake artist went above and beyond, surpassing all of my expectations.

The cake not only captured the essence of a favorite college spot, but also became one of my favorite details of the night. It was the coolest nod to our Aggie roots. Our wedding day was hands down the best day of our lives, surrounded by the absolute best people. The joy, laughter, and love shared that day created memories we’ll carry with us forever. It was a magical celebration that surpassed all expectations, etching itself as an unforgettable chapter in the story of us.
