Emily and Brett’s Farmstead Wedding at Kent Island Resort

Emily and Brett’s Kent Island Resort Farmstead Wedding brought a beautiful sunny July day. During their engagement, Brett was joking that it seemed like the only day in July there was rain in the forecast, but instead, we had no clouds and a heat and humidity wave. Kent Island Resort had plenty of shade in July for our portraits, and the Farmstead ensured everyone could stay chill inside if they wanted to.

From all the pretty details and their unique invitation suite to some Veuve, feathers and their beautiful florals, their choices complemented their venue beautifully. We started the day at Emily’s getting ready suite above the Farmstead, followed by some detail photos, and super fun champagne toasts, and you could tell how loving and excited each of her bridesmaids was to be there on Emily’s special day. They were giddy, so excited to be there, and so happy for Emily and Brett, or to quote her sisters “Bremily“.

Brett also had an amazing crew with him, his groomsmen brought a lot of energy, kept it fun, and were also enjoying their friend’s big day alongside him. Their suits coordinated with Brett’s and they shared champagne details in their ties, Brett’s vest, and of course, the bridesmaids’ dresses, which looked amazing.

Emily and Brett were just beaming all day, even before they had their first look, you could tell they were just so excited for their big day that was finally here! They had their ceremony outdoors by the Kent Island Resort Farmstead, followed by cocktail hour indoors and right on to their reception, where everyone danced the night away to the sound of the band.

I hope you all enjoy looking through these and reliving such a beautiful and memorable day for Emily and Brett. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Rubin!
