This couple owes their first meeting to Harry’s brother, Alex. Kaitlin had casually known Alex for a few years from living in Boston. One night she met with Alex at a bar, and this time, he had brought along his brother, Harry. The following day, Harry sent Kaitlin a friend request. A year after their initial meeting, the group met again for a night out. This time, Kaitlin asked Alex if she could ask his brother out. Coincidentally, Kaitlin and Harry both had separate plans to move to NYC. The couple went on their first day a few weeks after settling into their new city and have been together ever since. Harry proposed over a weeklong trip to Norway. On the second day of the trip, the couple was engaged on a mountaintop and enjoyed the rest of their vacation as they celebrated this next step in their relationship.

Harry and Kaitlin’s love for the outdoors merged with a desire to bring their guests together for a relaxed wedding in the mountains of Vermont. Surrounded by green hills, The Wilburton Inn was the perfect New England resort to host their family and friends for the weekend. Beautiful green letterpress invites included lighthearted mountain-inspired artwork with a touch of vintage flair. The ceremony was held in the grass, where two wildflower arrangements marked the altar in a whimsical burst of pink and yellow. The Green Mountains of Vermont were in perfect view. Kaitlin’s look channeled her “no-fuss” attitude as she wore an elegant, simple mikado gown. She paired this dress with oversized flower earrings and a veil with crystals and pearls trailing to the end. She also wore two bracelets, one from her mother and one from her grandmother. Dinner moved to the Marble Terrace beneath a tent decorated in ivory curtains and string lights. The space utilized the less-is-more mentality, with candles and flowers coordinating in delicate hues. Guests dined from the taco bar truck and enjoyed a table of delights at the dessert bar.
