Emily and John’s Cozy Art Deco Wedding at The Baxter Hotel

Emily and John designed their wedding to mirror the mood and romance of their engagement photos. They aimed for their special day to evoke a sense of comfort and warmth, incorporating cozy colors while deliberately avoiding the typical Christmas color scheme.

They selected The Baxter as their venue, drawn to its Art Deco interior, which perfectly matched their desired aesthetic. Additionally, the choice was influenced by Emily’s personal connection with the venue’s event manager. A highlight for Emily was working with her hairstylist, Mindy, who has been an important figure in her life for over ten years.

Understanding the importance of a memorable experience for their guests, Emily prioritized exceptional food as a key element of the celebration, viewing it as vital to ensuring everyone enjoyed the day. One of the most magical aspects of the day was Emily’s dress from Pronovias. Guests and patrons of the Baxter continuously commented on how Emily looked like a princess in her castle, which I believe was a very apt description.
