On a beautiful May 10th, at the picturesque Venue 5126 in Oswego, Illinois, Leanna and Zack celebrated their love with a wedding that was nothing short of magical. Their journey to this special day is a story filled with serendipity, deep connection, and a love that has stood the test of time. We are excited to share more from this dream wedding at Venue 5126.

How They Met

Leanna and Zack’s story began in an unexpected way. Leanna was initially on a date with Zack’s roommate, and her best friend was also tagging along. Zack decided to join them, and the moment Leanna saw him, she knew she was in trouble. She turned to her best friend and confessed, “I’m in trouble.” Leanna and Zack hit it off, realizing they were a much better fit for each other. Six years later, their bond has only grown stronger.

Deciding on Forever

Just two months into their relationship, Leanna told Zack that she could see him being her forever. His reaction—or lack of fear—was a clear sign that he was in it for the long haul. Feeling completely safe and comfortable with Zack, Leanna knew she had found her person.

The proposal was as memorable as their love story. While on a family vacation to Tennessee, they took a cable car up to Annakesta in the mountains. Amidst the chaos of coordinating ten adults and three kids to a heart-shaped overlook, Zack seized the perfect moment. As they posed for a photo, Zack got down on one knee and asked Leanna to marry him. It was a moment of pure joy and love, one that they will cherish forever.

Leanna’s Dress

Leanna had a vision for her wedding dress. She knew exactly what she wanted. She found her perfect gown at Wolsfelts Bridal, knowing exactly what she wanted—something with a pink undertone and floral appliqué, reflecting her girly girl personality. The dress was everything she had dreamed of and more.

A Spring Wedding

Leanna and Zack share a love for the outdoors, so they chose a farmhouse chic theme for their wedding. The rustic yet elegant decor created a charming atmosphere that perfectly matched their vision. Thanks to a wonderful coordinator at the venue, the day was surprisingly stress-free.

One unique aspect of their wedding was the decision not to have a first look. The anticipation of waiting to see each other added an extra layer of excitement. Zack had no clue what Leanna’s dress looked like, making his reaction as she walked down the aisle all the more special.

The entire day was filled with memorable moments, but saying their “I dos” and sharing their first dance were among their favorites. The love and joy they felt were palpable, and everything turned out exactly as they had hoped.

Leanna and Zack’s advice for future couples is simple yet profound: Don’t take yourself too seriously. Your wedding day is meant to be the happiest day of your life, so let your photos capture that joy. Remember, it’s your day—do what makes you happy. While you and your partner might have different visions, it’s important to compromise so both of you get parts of what you want.

Leanna and Zack’s wedding at Venue 5126 was a celebration of love, laughter, and the start of a beautiful journey together. Their story is a testament to the magic of finding your perfect match and the joy of celebrating that love surrounded by family and friends.
