At Bear Chase Brewery’s Manor House, a recent wedding brought Christmas charm to the dessert table in the sweetest way possible. Kettermans Kitchen crafted a three-tier wedding cake that didn’t just celebrate the season—it told a love story.
The top tier featured a gingerbread cake with cream cheese buttercream, setting the tone with warm seasonal flavors. The middle tier offered apple cake with caramel buttercream and a salted caramel drizzle. The bottom tier balanced the design with vanilla bean cake and vanilla buttercream.
The design embraced Christmas in full: nutcrackers, vintage-style piping across multiple tiers, and a buttercream-painted holiday village on top. A standout detail sits inside the snow globe tier—tiny items chosen by the groom’s children, making the cake both a centerpiece and a keepsake. The bride requested a vintage aesthetic, and the result delivered texture, memory, and personality rather than a standard showpiece.
This wedding cake reflects what makes custom cakes meaningful: the combination of craft, flavor, and family stories. Kettermans Kitchen didn’t just make a dessert; they created a memory.
