The John and Mable Ringling Museum is a place where history, art, and romance converge. With its pink Italian-style façade, intricate archways, and grand columns, this architectural masterpiece reflects the essence of a Renaissance palazzo, standing as a breathtaking vision against Florida’s Gulf Coast. Influences of Baroque design further enhance its timeless beauty, making it an ideal setting for couples who appreciate history, elegance, and nature. From lush green courtyards and bronze sculptures to grand galleries, this location offers an enchanting experience at every turn.

It was the perfect backdrop for Paige & Akhenaton, a couple whose love story is as captivating as the setting itself. Their journey began in February 2020, just before the world stood still. Akhenaton, working for the Tallahassee City Commission, first met Paige during a meeting she attended for her role at a local museum. At the conclusion of the meeting, he approached her, convinced they had met before, and invited her to get involved in community events. Paige, unsure if they had truly crossed paths before, agreed—and four and a half years later, here they are, deeply in love and happily engaged.

Their engagement session was all about capturing the chemistry, warmth, and effortless joy that defines their relationship. Though Akhenaton was initially hesitant about being in front of the camera, I worked to create a relaxed and natural environment where he could feel at ease. The result? Genuine, heartfelt moments that reflect his love for Paige in the most beautiful way.

To fully embrace the magic of their surroundings, Paige & Akhenaton opted for two distinct outfit changes, each bringing a unique touch to their engagement session.

For the first look, Paige wore a stunning flowy, layered white dress, while Akhenaton complemented her in a classic gray pantsuit. This look exuded timeless elegance, perfectly aligning with the grandeur of the museum. Against the ornate columns and intricate architectural details, their embrace was soft yet powerful, creating regal, intimate portraits. Some of my favorite moments were the candid ones—like when Akhenaton playfully rested his head on Paige’s shoulder as they laughed together. It was a moment that truly embodied love at its most natural and beautiful.

For their second look, Paige changed into a chic short white dress, and Akhenaton opted for a light blue pantsuit, bringing a fresh, modern contrast to the historical setting. This portion of the shoot had a more laid-back, joyful energy, with the couple sharing laughter and lighthearted moments as we explored the museum’s majestic interiors and grand corridors. The soft pink hues of the columns framed their radiant smiles, enhancing the dreamy, romantic feel of the session.

While the wide, scenic shots captured the sheer splendor of the museum’s architecture, it was the small, intimate details that told the real story—the delicate focus on Paige’s heels, the sparkle of her ring, the tenderness of their kiss, the warmth of their embrace. Each frame reflected their love, commitment, and the deep connection they share.

This engagement session at The John and Mable Ringling Museum was nothing short of magical. Against the backdrop of one of history’s most exquisite landmarks, Paige & Akhenaton’s love took center stage—timeless, radiant, and truly unforgettable.
