Enjoy Centre Hindu Wedding: Mithra & Kunal

When you have a big wedding you need big venues! Mithra & Kunal tied the knot first at the Enjoy Centre with a Hindu wedding ceremony, and then with a glamorous reception at the Edmonton Convention Centre. Everything about this wedding was colorful and bright and fun – much like the personalities of the couple! Every time we talked about wedding plans we ended up laughing and chatting. Even with all of the moving parts of a multi-day Indian wedding, these two kept their cool. A few highlights include a flash mob dance performance at the end of the reception, and Mithra’s niece arriving on the scene in a remote control car. Just so adorable!

Hunting Hill Mansion Proposal: Leroy and Raina

Photos and story by J&J Studios, LLC I was so glad we got to capture this romantic Hunting Hill Mansion Proposal for Leroy and Raina. The set up was so sweet and the suspense was killing me the entire time we waited for their arrival. Hunting Hill Mansion has roots back into the 1700s where it was originally a Georgian farmhouse that is still used as the reception area of the venue. In the early 1900s, the property was acquired by the Jeffords family. The mansion was given as a present by Sam Riddle, a millionaire, socialite businessman at the time, to Sarah Dobson Fiske, Sam’s niece, and Walter Jeffords, her fiance, a prominent Philadelphia investment banker. I find it particularly appropriate that the venue is often used by Parque for weddings and engagements as the mansion itself was an …

Curvy Tattooed Bride in Baltimore City

Story and photos by Megapixels Media Not only did we focus on a bold color science but we also played with different textures. Habitats venue has a beautiful dark wooden floor and white brick walls that we accented with black paint splattered balloons. Large potted tropical plants also decorated the venue along with authentic floral arrangements by The Rogue Petal Co. The couple’s outfits were also carefully chosen for this shoot. the Groom wore an emerald tailor-made suit from Shaw’s Covenant with gold accents and inserts. The Bride wore a lustrous white gown from Garnish Boutique and a custom crystal crown by Bridal Styles Boutique. She also wore hand made jewelry and hair accessories from J’adorn and a Ruby ring flanked by 2-carat pear diamonds. Our table was decorated by Aeboni of Plan Accordingly Events and highlighted with healing crystals …

DIY Boho Backyard Wedding: Chelsea & Brad

Story and photos by Dani Nicole Photography  This was another one of my COVID affected couples who decided to turn the lemons life handed them into celebratory lemonade. They rescheduled their big wedding to the fall, but wanted to still get married on their original wedding date, so over the course of a few weeks, they planned an intimate gathering that turned out to be simply breathtaking. In the backyard of Brad’s cousin’s (the officiant) townhome, Chelsea set up a DIY ceremony area lush with pampas grasses, white ceramic vases, and candles, and created a modest boutonniere for her groom. They draped gauze fabric over copper rods and borrowed a large area rug from the neighbor. Set against a sprawling ivy-covered brick wall in soft filtered sunlight, it was the perfect area to exchange vows. Speaking of that rug-lending neighbor …

Country Club Wedding: Mimi & Paul

Photos and story by Gabriel Conover Photography  I have not shot many weddings at country clubs before, but Alta Vista Country Club was just absolutely beautiful. It’s so easy to take the beauty that is right next to us for granted. Mimi and Paul met me for their engagement shoot at Crystal Cove a few months before the wedding. We talked a lot and shared as much as we could about our lives in the couple of hours we got together. The beach was peaceful and serene. There were not many people there and the weather was so kind to us. Their wedding day was even more wonderful. The tears were all real! The ceremony was focused on Mimi and Paul’s relationship together and with God. Alta Vista Country Club truly provided the most beautiful ceremony site for these two …
