Chic Farmhouse Elopement

Story and photos by Hope Ballenger Photography This couple thought outside of the box and took a wider perspective, pivoting between quintessential and uncommon novel design. They scraped tradition and put a unique spin on a chic and intimate farmhouse wedding; with clean lines, simplistically elegant pastels, and the Pantone C.O.T.Y. “Classic Blue.”

Enjoy Centre Hindu Wedding: Mithra & Kunal

When you have a big wedding you need big venues! Mithra & Kunal tied the knot first at the Enjoy Centre with a Hindu wedding ceremony, and then with a glamorous reception at the Edmonton Convention Centre. Everything about this wedding was colorful and bright and fun – much like the personalities of the couple! Every time we talked about wedding plans we ended up laughing and chatting. Even with all of the moving parts of a multi-day Indian wedding, these two kept their cool. Venue with a View: The Ospreys at Belmont Bay

By Marianne Weaver Sponsored by The Ospreys at Belmont Bay What was once a scenic golf course along the Occoquan has been overhauled into a 100-acre picturesque event venue: The Ospreys at Belmont Bay. “It’s hard to describe the feeling my fiancé and I felt as we walked into the Osprey’s,” said Deveny Mendez. Hunting Hill Mansion Proposal: Leroy and Raina

Photos and story by J&J Studios, LLC I was so glad we got to capture this romantic Hunting Hill Mansion Proposal for Leroy and Raina. The set up was so sweet and the suspense was killing me the entire time we waited for their arrival. Hunting Hill Mansion has roots back into the 1700s where it was originally a Georgian farmhouse that is still used as the reception area of the venue. In the early 1900s, the property was acquired by the Jeffords family. The mansion was given as a present by Sam Riddle, a millionaire, socialite businessman at the time, to Sarah Dobson Fiske, Sam’s niece, and Walter Jeffords, her fiance, a prominent Philadelphia investment banker. I find it particularly appropriate that the venue is often used by Parque for weddings and engagements as the mansion itself was an …
