Italian and Chilean Heritage Wedding: Frances and Pedro

Story and photos by Shauna and Jordon Photography When we first heard Pedro and France’s love story, we immediately fell in love with the serendipity and romance of how they met and fell in love. An Italian-American teacher working abroad in Chile, only to find the love of her life- who she would come to one day marry. So as their big day arrived, we knew that we truly could not wait for their legacy of love to unfold amongst some of the most beautiful, thought out details honoring the legacy’s that they too came from. THE HERITAGE THAT MADE THEIR LOVE STORY THE TALE THAT IT IS. A heritage that molded the love stories preceding Frances and Pedro and that will continue to carry on for decades to come. Honored through flags waving outside of The Italian Club. Through …

Whimsical Celestial Styled Wedding Inspiration

Story and photos by Leah Goetzel Photography  Emily and Jessica are a real-life couple, which always makes photographing them so much more special. Even though Emily was wearing a different dress than the one she’ll be wearing for her November wedding, Jessica was still so emotional seeing her lady all dressed up. We had a “first look” of sorts and it was the sweetest moment. Love love loved working with these two.

Fort Lauderdale beach hotel wedding: Jessica and Scott

Photos and story by Jeff Kolodny Photography  Jessica works for Anne Barge a popular bridal gown designer.  She has been in the bridal business for over 13 years.  She has a lot of insight when it comes to bridal gowns.  They were very surprised when the did their wedding site visit 4 weeks before her wedding.  She arrived at her chased venue to find that the venue was under construction.  Needless to say, this was a mess, she had to move her wedding to a different venue.   She is very happy to talk with publishers about her career in the wedding gown industry,  her venue issue, and having to deal with the stress of it all.  As the photographer, I ask that the name of the old venue does not get mentioned in the article. Jessica and Scott met …

Wedding at Paramour Estate: Todd and Chelsea

Todd and Chelsea were wed in the impressive and classical Paramour Estate in Los Angeles California. Both professional models they met while working on set and have been inseparable for 10 years! Being professionals in front of the camera they made photography since it felt like there was only love in the room, with their genuine laughs and smiles. The day was perfect, at 72°, and not even chilly at night for a great outdoor reception under the stars! With a wedding venue considered a mansion at 22,000 ft.² the Mediterranean style home, on4.5 acres of 360 views of Los Angeles is hard to beat! Chelsea’s style was stunning in 2 jaw-dropping bridal gowns. One from Zac Posen for the ceremony and one high neckline, long-sleeved, beaded gown from the Jessica angel collection for the reception. Her engagement ring from …

Southwestern Meets Hill Country

Photos and story by Snap Chic Photography Naturally, like anything in the wedding industry, nothing always goes according to plan. Luckily we were working with an incredible bunch of wedding pros so we rolled with the punches! First, our original venue canceled. Problem solved because Lost Mission was so wonderful to let us do the shoot there on shorter notice, and honestly, the setting could not have been more perfect for the southwestern/desert vibes we were giving! Then, on the morning of the shoot (we’re talking like an hour before we were to start hair & makeup), our model texted that she was sick – like 102 fever sick – and wouldn’t be able to make it. Then comes Malarie with Lazy Creek Designs to the rescue! She was always going to attend the photoshoot as a vendor, but instead, …

Ukrainian/Romanian/American wedding

This bold pink and white fun summer Georgia wedding had some unique traditions that included: a dad putting on the bride’s shoes, a unity ceremony of nailing a box closed to open at a later date, choreographed first dances, choreographed father-daughter dances, biscuit hour instead of cocktail hour, and the fun smoke bomb photo to end the night!

Elegant Modern Elopement

Photos and story by Freckled Fox Photography This styled shoot was for a photographer’s workshop that I put on last year. This couple is just adorable and some of my favorite photos to date. I’ve been wanting to submit them and what better time than right now with all of the unrest in the country about African American equality. Try looking at these photos without smiling, I dare you.

Colorful and Vibrant Engagement in Graffiti Alley: Emerald and Quinn

Photos and story by Megapixels Media THEY ROCKED THIS LOOK! We were so excited when they emailed us concept ideas for their wedding, we should have known the engagement session was going to be just as dope. What you wear to your engagement session can play a huge role in how your photos come out. For places like Graffiti Alley where the background is sooo busy, we would always recommend wearing something monochrome (1 basic color), The African print that they both shared in their attire bought the whole look together and even shows a piece of their story together. We loved that! We edit all of our photos in house. Each photo by hand and for each couple we create their own custom preset that best reflects their skin tone (which is another reason why we love having a …

Classic and Beautiful Wedding Inspiration: Melissa and Kirk

Melissa & Kirk are a very yin yang couple.  She’s the outgoing, free spirited, fun and laid back bride.  Kirk is more quiet & reserved but undoubtedly cool.  They shine when they are together and you can see it the minute their eyes meet.  They had a very hot and steamy summer day about 90 degrees and 90% humidity. They had planned for an outdoor wedding ceremony at Grounds for Sculpture but due to the quick moving summer storms they had to switch plans and move it last minute to the art gallery.  Kirk and Melissa are very emotional sensitive people and when they heard the string quartet practicing before the ceremony they both broke down in happy tears.  But more happy tears came when Kirk saw Melissa walking down the aisle.  The minute they met the sun shined through …
