Cindie’s Travels: A Hidden Sterling Jewel

I love touring venues! Northern Virginia has such a wealth of grand hotel ballrooms, classic country clubs, and unique reception sites. One of those unique places is the Cherry Blossom Banquet Hall, tucked away by a small lake on Route 7 in Sterling.

Cherry Blossom is known for hosting elaborate ethnic weddings. And if you love the bling, this is the place for you! Soaring windows grace a marble foyer that’s perfect for cocktail time. Then enter the banquet hall, which can accommodate up to 400 guests with its extravagant crystal chandeliers and sconces, mirrored walls and a beautiful view of the lake.  After your celebration, you can take the party next door to their hookah bar.

The kitchen specializes in Afghan and Persian cuisine, but the staff is also well versed in Latin and American dishes. Dinner menus start at $55 per person. The selections are generous and price includes your dance floor and risers for your head table and DJ/band, as well as linens and centerpieces. And there are several nearby hotels for your out of town guests. Cherry Blossom is also available for off-premise catering, whether it’s an intimate rehearsal dinner at home or a large scale ethnic wedding in a hotel ballroom.

To learn more about Cherry Blossom, visit their website. And to schedule your tour and consultation, contact Ghazala (“Gali”) Ali, Banquet Sales Manager, at (703) 444-0080 or email her.
