To add as many personal touches as possible to their reception, Ali and Kyle had Ali’s Aunt and a close personal friend act as co-officiants, provided a mini-polaroid camera for guests to snap selfies that could be pasted directly into the guest book and created table numbers that were based on important dates in their history as a couple. Decorating with yellow daisies and coffee beans and having a candy table inspired by Lorelai Gilmore’s sweet tooth added even more individual flair to their big day!
Having spent 12 years as a couple before tying the knot, Ali and Kyle went with an intimate, yet industrial setting for their big day. They decided to skip having a bridal party and focus on creating the perfect atmosphere for their friends and family to party and celebrate the next step in their relationship. They weren’t looking to be super formal, but did rock the dance floor with a choreographed first dance which they set to the same song that Lorelai and Luke first danced to on Gilmore Girls.
