Sarah and Clay chose Neo on Locust in central St. Louis for their wedding because of it’s urban industrial feel and the design possibilities it offered. Sarah, a former stylist, knew she wanted to create her own centerpieces and decor for a “shabby chic” vibe. Using hues of gold and blush, this creative bride achieved a soft, romantic feel that provided a lovely contrast to the venue’s brick walls and floor to ceiling windows.
They both have children from previous relationships, so it was incredibly important to Sarah and Clay to include their kids in the wedding. They wanted to emphasize that they are beginning their lives as a family, not just as husband and wife. Each of the children played a special role in the ceremony and family portraits were captured on the lawn outside before the reception. After dinner, Sarah and Clay were honored with speeches by friends and family and shared a special dance before Sarah threw the bouquet!
