Katie and Michael got married on a picturesque spring day at Childress Vineyards in North Carolina. Their wedding had a light and airy feel, with a monochromatic color palette of whites and silver grays which they accented with leafy greens, it was the perfect celebration of early spring and all it has to offer.
Michael wore a gray tuxedo with a black tie and his groomsmen wore black tuxes with gray ties to compliment. The bridesmaids’ silver-gray chiffon gowns were reminiscent of ancient Greece in their draping and the vines and flowers they wore in their hair completed their ethereal look. Katie started the day in a stunning mermaid cut gown of white tulle with crystal and beaded detailing on the bodice. (It’s sheer back was an absolute knock out)! For dinner and dancing, she changed into a white two-piece dress that showed her casual bride side with long lace sleeves and a bare midriff for a slightly more sultry late night look.
