Hannah and Mark met while working for Google and instantly bonded over their shared love of the gummy bears they snacked on in the break room. They had both been assigned to work on the same project. He, as the software engineer, and she as the visual designer. It was a natural fit, she made things look great and he made them functional. They took the same approach to their wedding planning. They chose the stunning Calamigos Ranch in Malibu California as their venue because it offered amazing photographic opportunities, and also boasts a ceremony site that has it’s own waterfall!
After the ceremony by the waterfall, which was performed by the same pastor that had married Hannah’s parents 30 years prior, the couple and their guests moved to an outdoor pavilion space nearby for the reception. Flowing white drapery covered the space, giving it a dream-like, heavenly feel. Hannah and Mark kept their floral arrangements simple using white hydrangea and roses interspersed with pops of light pastel peaches and pinks which paired nicely with the gold accents in the place settings.
Adding to the heavenly vibe of the day, Hannah chose flowing draped gowns in a pale taupe for her bridesmaids, while she wore a white mermaid cut gown with a train of billowing organza that made her look as if she floated on a cloud. Mark and his groomsmen were right on trend in slim fit blue suits with skinny black ties and the soy candles this creative couple gave as favors were all handmade, by them!
