Allison and Nick’s Autumn Church Ceremony

Allison and Nick said “I do” with a traditional ceremony in the gorgeous St. Mary’s church in Annapolis, Maryland before heading to the Crofton Country Club for their reception. St. Mary’s is an absolute stunner and provided amazing photographic opportunities.

At the reception, Allison and Nick wanted to keep things simple so they could focus on enjoying a good time with their guests. They opted for a more photojournalistic style for their wedding pictures with just a few formal photos. Navy blue was the perfect color to accent this autumn wedding and Allison’s bridesmaids looked beautiful in their flowing strapless gowns with sweetheart necklines. Tim’s groomsmen were outfitted in gray suits with navy blue ties. The ladies carried bouquets of mixed white flowers that popped against their dark blue gowns and the sheer long sleeves on Allison’s gown gave her a traditional, elegant look that was just perfect for the season.

Guest were asked to sign their names to a leaf on Allison and Nick’s wedding plaque upon entering the reception and after the cocktail hour, dinner was served buffet style to maximize the time for mingling, toasts and of course, dancing!
