Erin and Tripp have traveled the world together and they don’t plan on stopping any time soon. For their waterfront wedding on John’s Island in South Carolina they chose to highlight their journey together with a theme based on the many voyages they have taken over their years as a couple. Adorable DIY details like their centerpieces not only showcased their travels, but also highlighted the couple’s creativity!
Erin looked stunning in her vintage inspired A-line gown with its lace detailing, cap sleeves and deep V neckline. She finished her look with a fingertip veil that cascaded from her sleek chignon. Her bridesmaids wore bright and cheerful sea foam green cocktail dresses that highlighted the nautical nature of the waterfront setting and Tripp and his groomsmen were dapper in gray suits.
After the outdoor ceremony, the celebration moved under a nearby tent for the reception. In staying with the travel theme of the day, Erin and Tripp had their guests sign a globe as a fun alternative to a guest book, and their place cards hung on a map of the world. The cake topper gave a special shout out to their adorable dog, who was, of course, in attendance. As the sun went down over the water this adventurous couple and their guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and got to try their hands at corn hole and a giant Jenga game. Congratulations Erin and Tripp!
