Love is Brewing For Amanda and Matt

Amanda and Matt were both new to their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia when they swiped right on Tinder, but after what Amanda called a slightly “awkward” first date, the pair soon discovered that they share a love of hiking, movies and craft beer. They went on a date to Monday Night Brewing early in their relationship and just kept going back. Amanda says the brewery holds a special place in her and Matt’s hearts, “What better way to get married than at a place you love with amazing beer”! Lucky for them, their favorite brewery recently opened “Monday Night Garage” an industrial chic, beer themed wedding and event venue. It was the perfect spot for this fun, brew-loving couple to wed, they even asked their male guests to wear “funky” ties – a key theme at Monday Night Brewing.

Amanda looked positively radiant in her classic mermaid cut gown with its off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline and pleated tulle overlay. She finished her look with a beaded belt for added bling and a messy bun accented with dried hops, enhancing the craft beer theme. Her bridesmaids wore light and flowing short dresses in sky blue, each in a slightly different style, and all the ladies carried bouquets that were handcrafted by the bride herself with faux and preserved flowers she sourced from Afloral.com. She made Matt and his groomsmen’s boutonnieres with hops as well and they looked smashing with the guys’ slim fit navy blue suits and burgundy ties.

After the outdoor ceremony in the courtyard between the brewery and the garage Amanda, Matt and their guests headed inside to enjoy some of Monday Night’s delicious brews with a barbecue dinner. Tables were set family style in the industrial chic garage and Amanda used her DIY creativity to bring her vision of the perfect reception to life. Amanda says, “Monday Night really didn’t need much decoration, but the little bits that were there, I made”. She used wine and liqueur bottles taken from friends’ parties, which she painted and filled with greenery, as centerpieces and the space was accented by vintage-inspired chandeliers and beer barrels. Burlap grain sacks, moss and a color scheme of burgundy and blue completed the decor and Amanda made a fun wedding cake piñata that she and Matt smashed to the song “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”. It was one of the couple’s favorite parts of the day and we just love this creative couple’s DIY prowess. Cheers, Amanda and Matt!
