Brittany and David’s Bucolic Barn Wedding

Brittany and David chose a unique venue for their wedding. The couple, who met through Brittany’s older brother wanted something different and Creative Chateau was perfect! The venue normally serves as an artist’s retreat and yoga studio and boasts a gazebo-like out building that perches over a private pond surrounded by 28 acres of idyllic property. The space had everything this upbeat pair was looking for, an outdoor ceremony spot and the beautiful blending of the 1860’s barn’s rustic architecture with “the inspiration of creativity and a French Country atmosphere.”

Brittany was gorgeous in her classic A-line gown with its beaded lace detailing and deep V back, her look was completed by a long veil and vintage-inspired sparkling drop earrings. Her bridesmaids wore pale lavender gowns with beaded details at the neckline and ruched draping in the back and all of the ladies carried delicate bouquets of roses and peonies in pale pink, lavender and white with accents of greenery. David and his groomsmen were handsome in light gray three-piece suits with pale blush ties, David in a bow tie, his guys in long ones.

At the reception, tables were draped in crisp white linens and set with sage green napkins. Rustic wooden accents adorned each table and delicate floral centerpieces in the couple’s chosen color scheme were set in mini wooden crates to enhance the bucolic country setting. Brittany and David infused fun details, like “his” and “hers” signature cocktails and a “wishing stone” guest book into their day and displayed family pictures to personalize the decor. After dinner and toasts to wish the couple good luck in their new life together, everyone got a chance to hit the bountiful dessert buffet before dancing the night away to the sounds of One T Entertainment’s amazing DJ.
