Ashley and Beau’s Vintage Inspired Autumn Wedding

Ashley and Beau chose the charmingly historic, Kyle House in Fincastle, Virginia for their intimate, vintage-inspired wedding. The two exchanged vows in front of a backdrop of glowing Edison lights strung throughout draped white fabric. The vaulted ceiling of the space exposed the house’s 1830’s wooden beam construction, and vintage crystal chandeliers enhanced the historic venue’s vintage charm. They were surrounded by an intimate group of friends and family and their ceremony was filled with love and laughter.

Ashley was picture perfect in her lace mermaid cut gown with its sheer detailing and full tulle skirting. She finished her look with a vintage fingertip veil, sparkling drop earrings and a gorgeous pair of satin peep-toe heels in a knockout shade of teal. Her bridesmaids were perfect in dusty pink, each with a different style gown to accentuate her unique beauty and all of the ladies carried vintage-inspired bouquets of dried flowers in dusty rose, blush and periwinkle. Beau and his groomsmen rocked a retro look in brown wool vests and khaki pants which they paired with brown ties. Each gentleman pinned a burlap boutonnière with brown ribbon accents to his vest for a bit of vintage whimsy.

After their “I dos” were said, the newlyweds and their wedding party got a chance to pose for portraits at sunset outside the historic building. At the reception, Ashley and Beau shared their first dance as husband and wife in a room with warm and inviting exposed brick walls and a large mural that captured some of the history of their surroundings. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Ashley shared a special dance with her dad and after she and Beau cut their wedding cake, they hopped on Beau’s bike and rode off to live happily ever after.
