Jenna and Mike said “I do” on a rainy spring day at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey. Despite the rain, their day was bright and cheerful, full of light and airy spring colors and florals. Their ceremony took place under a chuppah of rich leafy green with floral accents and as is tradition at a Jewish wedding ceremony, it closed with the breaking of the glass. But Jenna and Mike made their ceremony unique by breaking two glasses. Mike crushed one and then Jenna smashed one too. Then the pair got a chance to take some fun rainy day photos under clear umbrellas and their upbeat spirit shines through!
Jenna made a beautiful spring bride in her sexy slip dress with its delicate spaghetti straps and lacy overlay. She finished her look with dangling floral motif earrings and a sparkling pair of sandals. Her bridesmaids wore non-matching gowns in various pastel shades, creating an air of casual springtime elegance, and all of the ladies carried lush bouquets of eucalyptus and spring florals. Mike and his groomsmen were handsome in blue suits and white shirts, opting for a more casual look by leaving their ties at home.
At the reception, tables were set with white linens and gold chargers and the floral centerpieces featured peonies and roses in pastel tones and plenty of greenery to celebrate the season. The bride and groom’s table was complemented by their ceremony chuppah and rustic touches like antiqued frame table numbers on rough hewn wooden pedestals completed the decor. The party kicked off with a good luck hora and after dinner, Jenna and Mike cut their perfectly pink wedding cake before hitting the dance floor again to party the night away with their friends and family. Congratulations Jenna and Mike!
