Lauren and Brandon met in college and have been going strong ever since. They tied the knot at the unique and elegant Barn at Broadslab Distillery in Johnson County, North Carolina, a venue that offers upscale rustic charm and, of course, makes delicious spirits on site! The ceremony took place under a wooden arbor draped in flowing white fabric and accented by lush greenery. After their first kiss as husband and wife, Lauren, Brandon and their wedding party posed for portraits on the grand lawn of the distillery before enjoying some of Broadslab’s moonshine whiskey at their cocktail hour.
Lauren was gorgeous in her lace, mermaid cut gown with its sheer bodice detail and sweep train. She completed her look with gold and rhinestone vine motif earrings and a cool pair of sparkling Betsey Johnson flats. Her bridesmaids were perfectly styled for a winter wedding in pale taupe gowns with bodices that mimicked Lauren’s and all of the ladies carried bouquets of red, blush and white florals with blue thistle and eucalyptus accents. Brandon and his groomsmen were dapper in three piece suits. Brandon wore a black vest and white tie and his guys wore red vests and ties for contrast.
At the reception, inside the modern rustic barn with its stunning exposed wood walls, tables were set with navy blue satin linens and gold chargers and flatware. Tall centerpieces of red and white florals with plenty of lush greenery were interspersed with more gold and green accents like lanterns and fern leaves. Guests were offered fun beer koozie favors and at the end of the night Lauren and Brandon snuck away to spend a relaxing moment by the outdoor fire pit before their guests saw them off with sparklers in hand. Congratulations Lauren and Brandon!
