Alyssa and Kyle’s Neutral-Toned Greenhouse Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Alyssa and Kyle’s wedding day started with a traditional church ceremony. An arch decorated with white florals and greenery set the tone for the day’s neutral color story and hurricane candles and bouquets of baby’s breath adorned the altar and aisle. Alyssa was stunning in her fitted gown with its delicate spaghetti straps and dramatic chapel train and Kyle was handsome in his three-piece gray tux with black tie and dark lapel accents. Since Alyssa and Kyle had chosen a unusual venue, a greenhouse, for their reception they decided on monochromatic styling for their wedding party to let the plants bring the color! Alyssa’s bridesmaids were elegant in flowing black gowns and the groomsmen wore gray to mimic Kyle’s look. The ladies’ lush bouquets celebrated the styling with white roses and eucalyptus.

At the greenhouse, the reception tables were set with crisp white linens and white florals with greenery enhanced the already lush surroundings. Alyssa and Kyle’s head table was absolutely overflowing with gorgeous vines and moss and behind it hung several green wreaths that were styled after the arch at their ceremony. The plants within the greenhouse completed the decor and Edison lights were hung from white cords above the space creating an ethereal glow. Guests were given tiny succulent plants as favors and after dinner, the newlyweds cut an all white cake before cutting loose on the dance floor. Congratulations Alyssa and Nick!
