Ashlyn and Alex: On Campus at UNC

Ashlyn and Alex met one Sunday at church and were instantly drawn to one another. They soon realized that they couldn’t imagine life without each other and set off to plan their dream wedding, in only four months! For Ashlyn, that meant heading back to her beloved Alma Mater, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Not only is UNC the nation’s first public university, but it’s also where Ashlyn and Alex shared their first kiss and on their wedding day, their first looks. Under the arches at the foot of the campus’s famed tower, they shared a private moment before exchanging vows. Ashlyn was stunning in her white satin gown with its sweetheart neckline and full skirting and Alex was handsome in blue. Their wedding party was stylish in pale pink and royal blue, a color scheme that carried over to their traditional ballroom reception at the nearby DoubleTree Hotel.

Lush floral runners in pale pink and white with pops of coral and plenty of greenery adorned the head table and touches like gold chargers and white floral wreaths elegantly completed the decor. Ashlyn and Alex got the party started with their first dance as husband and wife, encouraging their guests join in. After dinner, the newlyweds paused to cut their wedding cake and Ashlyn tossed her bouquet into a crowd of eager single gals before heading back out to the floor to dance the night away. As the evening drew to a close, the newlyweds exited to a dazzling sparkler send off. Congratulations Ashlyn and Alex!
