Ashley and Jon said “I do” at the upscale rustic Flying Caballos Ranch outside San Luis Obispo in sunny California. The historic ranch is located in the rolling hills of Edna Valley wine country and boasts a turn-of-the-century farmhouse, old world artistry with modern amenities and of course, gorgeous views. This adorable pair of travel buffs started their day with first looks outside the farmhouse before their outdoor ceremony overlooking the hills. After exchanging their vows under a wooden arbor draped with white fabric and lush florals, Ashley, Jon and their wedding party had fun posing for portraits with the ranch’s sprawling property as a backdrop.
Ashley was gorgeous in her sleek mermaid-cut gown with its deep V neckline and sweep train. She finished her look with dangling earrings and swept her beautiful curly locks to one side to let them cascade over her shoulder. She carried a bouquet of deep red roses and wildflowers with pops of bright pink peonies and eucalyptus accents. Her bridesmaids wore non-matching gowns in blush, gray and burgundy and carried bouquets that mimicked Ashley’s but added lighter blush tones to the mix. Jon was dapper in a classic tuxedo and his groomsmen wore suits in gray and navy blue which they paired with white shirts and monochromatic ties.
At the open-air reception, tables were set with crisp white linens and gilded bottles held white hydrangea centerpieces that featured post cards from all the amazing places Ashley and Jon have traveled together. Pictures of the two of them on trips from around the world were prominently displayed throughout the space and vintage accents like chandeliers and a lacy photo booth backdrop completed the decor. As the sun set, strung Edison lights illuminated the trees above and Ashley and Jon shared their first dance as husband and wife. The day was filled with love, laughter and celebration. Congratulations Ashley and Jon!
