Erica and Nate’s day began with a traditional Jewish ceremony on the grounds of the Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The chuppah (a Jewish wedding canopy) was decked out in flowing white fabric, gorgeous florals in romantic shades of pink and purple and tallit, or prayer shawls, that held special meaning for the couple. The ceremony concluded when Nate stomped on a glass wrapped in fabric, which symbolizes the permanence of the marriage contract.
Erica was radiant in her traditional lace ballgown with its illusion sleeves and court train. She finished her look with dangling earrings and a fingertip veil. Her bridesmaids were elegant in dusty blue gowns and all of the ladies carried pink and purple florals with succulent accents as an homage to the desert setting. Nate and his groomsmen were dapper in three-piece suits and long ties. Nate’s was blue, his guys’ were gray.
At the reception, tables were set with white linens and gold chargers and centerpieces of pink and purple florals with eucalyptus accents were arranged in large gold pedestals. Erica and Nate were celebrated with a good luck hora before a traditional blessing was said over the challah to officially start the reception meal. Family photos were prominently displayed to honor the loved ones who had passed and gold votive candles cast a romantic glow inside as the sun set over the desert sky outside. Erica and Nate snuck out to capture some sunset couple’s portraits before cutting their three-tiered wedding cake and enjoying a variety of delicious cupcakes with their guests. Congratulations Erica and Nate!
