Sarah and Jeremy’s Elegant Country Club Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Sarah and Jeremy met through mutual friends, Jeremy’s best man and his wife, one of Sarah’s bridesmaids. They’d been a couple for four years when they decided to buy a house together. Six months into their new living arrangement, Jeremy popped the question! He took Sarah to her favorite place, Disneyland and asked her to be his wife in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle. Sarah says it was “a dream come true”. The inspiration for their wedding day was ethereal soft glam and timeless elegance. The pair wanted their wedding to “feel welcoming and relaxing yet stylish and refined”. They chose the Wedgewood in Las Vegas, a country club setting with a beautiful golf course that’s close to the famed strip, but feels a world away. They started with an outdoor ceremony that reflected their faith, written just for them by their pastor. After their first kiss as husband and wife, they had fun posing for portraits on the Wedgewood’s expansive grounds.

Sarah was stunning in her Matthew Christopher gown with its sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice and sparkling champagne color. She finished her look with her mom’s pink pearl necklace and her grandma’s pearl earrings. Her bridesmaids were pretty in pale pink gowns and all of the ladies carried bouquets of pink and white florals with eucalyptus accents. Jeremy and his groomsmen were dashing in black suits. Jeremy’s suit was custom fitted for a look that was timeless, clean and sophisticated. Sarah says, “a bow tie never disappoints!”

At the reception, tables were set with delicately sparkling pale blush linens and centerpieces of pink and white florals with greenery accents that created a soft, romantic feel. Sarah and Jeremy spent two years gathering signage and decorative touches, but Sarah also put her DIY skills to work and created some of her own. She is a huge Disney fan, so she couldn’t resist adding some whimsical Disney-centric touches like the “Cinderella’s carriage” card box and the “happily ever after” cake topper that featured a silhouette of Cinderella’s castle! A lighted “LOVE” sign sat in front of Sarah and Jeremy’s sweetheart table and behind it, the wall was draped in sheer fabric lit by hundreds of twinkle lights. After dinner, the party truly came to life as Sarah, Jeremy and their guests celebrated and danced the night away. Congratulations you two!
