Morgan and Matt: Perfectly Pastoral in Pastels

Morgan says the way she and Matt first met is “a funny story actually”. She was at a friend’s house party when Matt showed up… with his girlfriend at the time! Oops. Needless to say, the pair didn’t get together right away, but they did hit it off. At the end of the night, Matt – like a true gentleman, offered to help Morgan get her car out of a tight spot in the driveway. As she drove away she couldn’t help thinking “something more was in the air that night”. Well it must’ve been, because they ended up getting together and have been inseparable ever since. They said “I do” at the idyllic Farm on the Ridge in Hoversville, PA on an absolutely gorgeous June day. They exchanged vows in the venue’s open air chapel beside a wooden arbor draped in flowing white fabric. After their first kiss as husband and wife, they had a great time posing for portraits with the perfectly pastoral setting as a backdrop.

Morgan was stunning in her classic Vera Wang ballgown with its sweetheart neckline and delicately ruched bodice. She finished her look with sparkling pendant earrings and a long veil for added drama. Her gals were pretty in pastel gowns, pale purple for the bridesmaids and champagne for the maid of honor. Each had a different bodice design, but all of the ladies carried bouquets of white roses and baby’s breath. Matt and his groomsmen were handsome in light beige suits and champagne ties, giving the wedding party’s styling a light and joyful summertime feel.

At the reception, inside the venue’s uniquely arched barn, tables were set with crisp white linens and delicate centerpieces of baby’s breath and white roses were arranged in ball jars. Rustic wood-slice pedestals, white bottles and burlap accents completed the tablescapes and each table came equipped with a small bell marked “kiss please” that guests could ring to prompt the newlyweds to smooch! Morgan and Matt used some of their engagement photos in the day’s decor and their dessert buffet featured a small cake for cutting and a delicious array of adorable cupcakes in their favorite flavors. Congratulations Morgan and Matt!
