Hunter and Jasen’s Upscale Farm Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Hunter and Jasen both play basketball and they wanted to incorporate that into their wedding day. Details like their b-ball jersey guest book blended beautifully with the rustic elements of the farm to truly personalize their nuptials. The day started with first looks and photos in a gorgeous wooded area at their Georgia venue, Bogle Farm. They then exchanged vows in a ceremony that included a tree planting unity ritual and a sports-themed pom pom recessional. Even their adorable little doggy got to join in the fun!

Hunter was stunning in her A-line gown with its sheer layered skirting and lacy bodice and she completed her look with a fingertip veil. Her bridesmaids wore non-matching gowns in pastel shades of blush, pink and gray and all of the ladies carried bouquets of white florals with lush eucalyptus accents. Jasen and his groomsmen were handsome in navy blue suits. Jasen wore a long tie and his guys wore bow ties.

Farmhouse style reception tables were set in the open air with white linens and leafy green runners. Colored glass goblets and brass candlesticks completed the decor and strung Edison lights provided a romantic glow. Hunter and Jasen shared their first dance beside a rustic stone fireplace and offered after dinner kettle corn snacks. Dessert was served in the barn and as the sun set, guests danced the night away on its covered porch. Congratulations Hunter and Jasen!
