Hayley and Matt met online and hit it off immediately. Hayley says she was nervous when Matt walked into the restaurant for first date because “he looked just as good in person as he did in his pictures.” But once that initial nervousness wore off, they spent three hours at the table, just talking. Things moved quickly from there. A month later, Hayley and Matt met each other’s families, and even took a trip to Florida together during Hayley’s spring break.
Their wedding day started with an outdoor ceremony at beautiful Vintage Oak Farms in Watkinsville, GA. It included a unity braid ritual as a sign of their devotion to each other and their faith. In addition, two of their close friends played a special song to set the mood.
Hayley was gorgeous in her fitted lace gown, which her grandmother found for her. It was the first dress she tried on, though she tried a few others to be sure. But her gown’s illusion neckline and dramatic train made it “the one”. The bridesmaids were pretty in pale coral gowns and all of the ladies carried classic white floral bouquets. Meanwhile, Matt and his groomsmen were dashing in tan suits.
The reception decor featured rustic styling and simple florals. The white and green color palette was timeless and vintage-inspired lanterns and burlap runners graced the tables. At the same time, strung Edison lights gave the barn a romantic glow. Nature treated Hayley and Matt to a stunning sunset and after dinner, the DJ had everyone dancing all night! Congratulations Hayley and Matt!
