Nena and Tre: Modern Minimalism on the Farm

by Amy Serrago

Nena and Tre were high school sweethearts and as they’ve grown, so has their love. They said “I do” at Seven Springs in King William, VA, surrounded by friends and family who’ve witnessed their whole journey. First, Nena and Tre shared a private moment and posed for portraits on the farm’s grounds. During the ceremony, officiated by Nena’s aunt, there was plenty of laughter and, of course, tears of joy. A wooden altar draped with eucalyptus framed the happy couple and two stately Magnolia trees provided the shade.

Nena was gorgeous in her backless gown with its layered sheer skirting. She finished her look with a delicate beaded crown and Badgley Mischka shoes. Meanwhile, her bridesmaids were elegant in neutral tones and each lady carried a bouquet of eucalyptus and pastel florals. Tre and his guys wore gray, but while Tre wore a black tie, the groomsmen wore pale taupe ones.

After their first married kiss, Nena and Tre had fun playing with some of Seven Springs’ resident lambs while strolling the historic farm. At the same time, guests enjoyed cocktails and lawn games before dinner. The reception decor featured vintage touches like brass candlesticks and gilded frames. And the centerpieces mimicked the bridal bouquet. A sheer blush runner adorned the head table and modern minimalist place settings completed the tablescapes. After dinner, Tre and Nena danced the night away with their guests. Congratulations you two!
