From the happy couple:

“Dave and I met at a restaurant in 2011. He was the bartender and the first person to introduce himself to me while I was filling out my application to be a server. We were great friends at work for the first two years until we made it official with a kiss at midnight on New Years Eve, 2013.

Like many couples during the 2019 pandemic, we needed to cancel and change our wedding plans for the safety of our friends and family. We are from Boston, and the guidelines for weddings were still very much unknown during our planning. However, we knew that by spring of 2021 we wanted to be married and nothing was going to stop us. So, we chose our favorite and most magical place in the entire world to the two of us – New Orleans, LA! We specifically chose the tree of life, a historical southern oak in the garden district, because it is a natural phenomenon and everlasting. Magic was a big theme for us for our nuptials and this tree seemed perfect for it. We spent the morning with coffee and beignets beforehand, and the evening eating at Arnauds, drinking champagne, and dancing to jazz in the street. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
