Cozy Backyard Mini Wedding

With COVID, many weddings were postponed, but Troy and Tabitha came to me asking if they could finish out 2020 on a positive note with a small COVID friendly wedding. They hope to celebrate with all their family and friends later next year, but this cozy celebration at The Barn at Willow Brook was a perfect way to celebrate their love safely. Brittany Droso Photography certainly did not disappoint capturing the love between these two. I put together fun welcome boxes with some requests from the bride and groom (including seaweed snacks and mini bottles of champagne). I also included a fun Polaroid picture printer that connects to guests phones so their can print out memories they took from the day. Winter florals from Good Earth Flowers mixed amazing textures and neutrals that were so dreamy against the blacks and golds of the tablescape. After a search that left our bride a little frustrated, Tabitha happened upon her gown at Tang’s bridal and feel in love. To keep her warm, I accessorized with a fuzzy cropped jacket that she could pop on and off as she pleased. She bravely chose not to wear it during their ceremony outside, but thankfully the barn was nice and warm during their seated dinner. Our bride also wanted something special to wear that she could keep later, so we had a custom jean jacket created by Brittany DeNovellis. The couple and their small group of guests wrapped up the special night with smore’s by the fire pit before heading inside for more games, movies, and full in-laws apartment the venue has to offer.
