BOHO DELICIOUS!!! Marilyn told us that this will be a RELAXED celebration for us to capture. Ricky wanted us to freeze the day ORGANICALLY !!!!! I remember that choice of words used during our zoom interview before the wedding day . One perfect part of this wedding that this couple took to heart …. Was not having any bridal party. A decision that I applaud any couple. Anybody who takes away from the focus of the couple, in our opinion is not positive during any wedding. Let us explain … Yes , it is great to honor your besties by your side / having them be apart of the big decision to become a spouse. One or two friends / family members is nice …. BUT having more than 2 on each side , Sometimes the day starts to become about the members / drama of the bridal party taking the focus away from the couple. Ricky + Marilyn chose to make this about them and their little boy ” Aiden ” ( who in our opinion STOLE THE SHOW ) One of the most beautiful parts of the wedding Ceremony , was to take soil from Marilyn’s country of Columbia … Mixed with Ricky’s soil of the USA , and adding both soils to a potted tree where the couple invited their son to add some water … This is a Tree Planting Ceremony . The tree will be planted in the ground in front of their first home. Marilyn also had one of the best floral designs we have ever seen . Best Wishes of Ormond Beach designed the Bridal Bouquet / The Arrangements at the entrance of the Ceremony / and The Floral Crown which was elegantly worn by Marilyn as she became Mrs. Harper. One more eloquent touch was the symbolism of where they wanted their family and friends while they witnessed them becoming husband & wife …. The main reason Ricky + Marilyn chose the Ormond Beach Memorial Gardens to hold their nuptials , was because their family and friends would be circled around them emulating a circle of love! So entirely sweet , what a loving BOHO couple!
