Modern day love story. Boy meets girl online, boy moves to new state for girl, boy asks girl to marry him. After months of online dating, Derek left California to put roots down in Texas for the girl who had stolen his heart. Months later the pandemic hit and the two decided they couldn’t live without one another, and he asked for her hand in marriage during quarantine. Both in the medical field, they waited until the time was right to gather for an epic celebration. Originally the couple had their heart set on marrying in California, where they had their first date – however, Allison chose the same hotel her parents were married at 40 years prior. Allison and Derek are both lovers of nature and the outdoors so they wanted to transform the ballroom into a blooming gallery of florals in romantic blush and white. Blooming Gallery took their vision to the next level with hanging wisteria from the ceiling and florals as far as the eye could see.
