From the Bride: “AJ & I met in college at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I was on the women’s basketball team and he was apart of the male practice team that would practice against our team every day. I would ask if he could rebound for me every day after practice or play 1on1. After spending countless hours in the gym together, he decided to ask me to a wedding that was 3 months away! I figured if I was going to go, I needed to get to know him a little bit more & the rest is history!
He proposed at the school I am coaching at. We were getting ready to start practice and he was going to bring me a coffee. I told him to leave the coffee in my office but when we were about to start practice he walked into the gym with the coffee and got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him and become “Coach Alexander”. A total surprise and I was so shocked! Our team witnessed the whole thing and it was so special!”
