Travis and Caitlyn’s love story started when Caitlyn’s mom thought Travis would be perfect for her. Before Caitlyn’s trip to Paris, her mom suggested inviting Travis over for a bonfire. Travis came, even though Caitlyn didn’t know her mom had been talking to him. The bonfire was awkward, and they didn’t talk much. Later, while Caitlyn was in Paris, Travis commented on her photos, starting a conversation that lasted the whole trip. When Caitlyn returned, Travis asked her to Cedar Point, but she wasn’t sure if it was a date. They went together and had fun. After spending more time together, they went on trips and grew closer.

Fast forward a few months, and their travel plans became frequent and exciting. From Hawaii to Mexico, Croatia to Kenya, and even Disney World, each adventure brought them closer together. Moments like being within four feet of a wandering bear in Glacier National Park and standing in awe at the bottom of the Grand Canyon strengthened their bond. However, amidst their adventures, they realized it was time to start laying down roots. Travis knew it was time to ask Caitlyn to marry him, so he planned a special moment on Mackinac Island. He proposed, and Caitlyn said yes.

Caitlyn and Travis’ wedding day epitomized the perfect blend of elegance and whimsy, that took place at the lovely Tandale Nature Barn in Brighton, Michigan. The couple infused their celebration with personalized touches that showcased who they are and put sand and dusk color florals everywhere. They also had an entire table treat table dedicated to our guests’ dogs. Tons of beautiful decanter jars, filled with all sorts of treats that our friends could bring little dog goody bags home. They chose to give personalized gifts to each other and the first looks with each other their parents were some unforgettable moments.

Travis’s breath was visibly taken away when Caitlyn’s father walked her down the aisle. He was in awe of his beautiful bride. The groom was the statement piece in an emerald green suit. He wow’ed everyone in it! The couple love Jesus and know Him as their Lord and Savior, so the day was a celebration of that as well. After the ceremony guests were able to roam the impeccable grounds, celebrate with drinks, and enjoy a surprise. Eight adorable dogs from a New Hope Rescue Mission stole the show during cocktail hour, offering guests a chance to mingle with furry friends available for adoption. Everyone loved getting a chance to meet the sweet pups!

Caitlyn and Travis added one more special touch: to bring their beloved dogs, Sirius and Griyffin, after the ceremony for family portraits. The couple entered the venue for dinner and traditional toasts followed. But they were surprised by their family orchestrating a flash mob of 75 guests dancing to “We Are Family.” The entire day was expertly captured Ingalls Pictures, who transformed the footage into a memorable wedding video accompanied by late-night snacks to cap off the festivities. It was an unforgettable celebration filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
