Tell us about your love story and your big day?

Sam and I met while working at a cookie shop in our town! What started as meals together after work turned into something very beautiful. Of course we had to include the cookies on our wedding day. It was so special to celebrate with all of our friends and family. It really did feel like a celebration.

What was the inspiration behind the theme and overall vibe of your wedding day?

We both just wanted it to be something that made us happy. We did not go into it with a real theme in mind. We chose things that sparked joy and that ended up being the theme. Everything came together so perfectly because it was everything we loved. I also think that it showed in the vendors we found along the way. We seriously had the best team of people. So kind and amazing at their craft. We felt so lucky, and still talk about that aspect of our wedding to this day!

Where was the wedding location and the venue details?

Brothers Ranch in royal oaks California

Favorite memories of the day?

The whole day was amazing but i think the ceremony and dancing took the cake:)

Music choices for your day?

Lots of oldies and disco, some beastie boys thrown in. A little bit of everything!

Did you have any DIY projects or did you make any or the decor at your wedding?

The flower girl baskets and the signs and table numbers!! My dad made our wedding arch and that is probably my favorite touch of the whole wedding.

Any advice for future brides?

Just do things that make you happy when it comes to the details. Dont worry too much about sticking to a theme because its so much better when you look around and everything is things that truly make you happy. And on the big day stop worrying about other people and worry about having the most fun that you can. You dont need to spend an hour with every guest. Say hello and when you are done enjoy the day. Eat the food, listen to the music, have fun with your husband and your friends. I think the more you try to make everything perfect the more things end up going wrong lol. So just let it go.
