Chantel and Leo’s Wedding of Love and Sunshine at Washington Golf and Country Club

Chantel and Leo’s story goes back to middle school when they met. Both are lifelong Marylanders, they grew up here and even went to the same high school so, they have always been in each other’s lives. They started dating the summer before Chantel went to college and dated for 6 years before they got engaged, in December 2022.

Leo proposed at the Winter Lights trail event and all of their large family (Leo is the oldest of 8 siblings and Chantel has two brothers) and some friends were there! Chantel said that it was so incredibly special and the best part is that she didn’t suspect a thing. Don’t you love when someone can pull off a surprise proposal?

Their engagement was at Brookside Gardens in the Spring, and their fairytale wedding was incredible, and a true DMV wedding. We started the day at Chantel’s parents’ beautiful home in Maryland where Rolls Wedding Limos were waiting for her to bring the gorgeous bride to St. Ann’s Church in Washington DC, where they had a beautiful ceremony followed by a fun send-off by their guests and one of the most beautiful receptions at Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C.

Some special details included Chantel’s family from Portugal, the beautifully arranged florals, their jaw-dropping 6-tier cake, the monogrammed dance floor, and of course, Chantel’s gown, which fit her beautifully.
