Carie and Spencer first met in med school. They were best friends in med school, study partners, and class President and Vice President together. They found out at the very end of med school that they both liked each other!
Spencer decided to have a LGBTQ+ prom fundraiser at a gay bar in downtown Phoenix. She proposed to Carie there. A little over a month later, Carie proposed to Spencer at her 31st birthday party which was Princess Diaries themed.
The brides chose to have a backyard wedding at Spencer’s mom’s friend’s backyard in Colorado. They wanted something chill and simple yet still pretty. They called the theme Halloween chic.
