Megan and Scott: Traditional Meets Tropical

Scott proposed to Megan with a grand romantic gesture on the beach near their home in Florida, so when they chose the venue for their wedding they went back to the beach! Their ceremony was held under a lush canopy of trees right at the edge of the sand in front of the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa, where the couple and their guests later enjoyed dinner and dancing.

For their November wedding, Megan chose to outfit her bridesmaids in long navy blue dresses, while the groomsmen wore coordinating suits accented with pink ties and pocket squares that picked up on the floral color scheme. Scott’s suit matched his guys, but he wore a traditional white bow tie which paired nicely with Megan’s white lace, mermaid cut gown that boasted pearl and crystal accents on the bodice.

Megan and Scott enjoyed the best of both worlds with traditional aspects, like a classical harpist for ceremony music, infused into their beach wedding. At the reception the couple sat at a sweetheart table that had been decked out in gold and pink. The floral arrangements were simply elegant, featuring pink hydrangea and roses.

Instead of favors, this caring couple donated to The Darbster Foundation, a local animal rescue organization, in each guest’s name and since the resort is pet friendly, they got to bring their dog along to share the day!
