This fun loving Omaha, Nebraska couple knew they’d have to travel for the beach wedding of their dreams, so Rebecca and Geoffrey grabbed 28 of their closest friends and family and hopped a flight to Puerto Rico where the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar gave them their tropical dream wedding! After a light sprinkling of good luck rain, which Rebecca said leant a “romantic feeling” to the day, their intimate ceremony went off without a hitch and included ukulele and vocal music provided by a close friend.
Rebecca wore a vintage inspired lace gown by Watters with a sweep train and sweetheart neckline. Instead of a veil she wore a single pink rose in her hair to accentuate the tropical atmosphere surrounding her. On her feet, she wore barefoot sandals, which gave just a hint of sparkle. Geoffrey wore a grey JoS. A. Bank suit with a navy blue tie, one of the accent colors Rebecca had chosen for the day.
After the ceremony, Rebecca and Geoffrey treated their guests to a family style feast under a tent on the beach. It was the perfect setting for this tight-knit group to celebrate the couple of the hour. Some of Rebecca and Geoffrey’s favorite details of their day were the antique style map of Puerto Rico they had their guests sign instead of a traditional guest book and the pink and gold accents in their floral arrangements and place settings. The two were thrilled that they got their dream beach wedding with just their inner circle in attendance.
