Audra and Karl met at Knox College in the Fall of 2008. Audra was a student athletic trainer and Karl ended up in her care after an ankle injury. She taped up his ankle and the two hit it off. Then, some mutual friends encouraged them to hang out again at a college party and they began dating shortly after. They chose a Jazz-Era inspired, vintage themed wedding because they wanted the feeling of carefree celebration!
The day was a little wet but the weather was great for the middle of March and the clouds in the sky gave Audra and Karl ideal lighting for outdoor portraits. Their venue was covered in gold sequin decor and set with gorgeous green and white flower arrangements. Lace and pearl accents added flair throughout the reception venue, giving an overall Great Gatsby atmosphere prepped for fun and fancy.
Audra’s vintage inspired gown with it’s delicate lace sleeves gave her a regal radiance and Karl looked like quite the dapper gent in his classic tuxedo. Their bridal party was elegant in black and the orchids and calla lilies of their florals were absolutely the perfect touch!
